$273 raised from Recycling for Nature Project

We have raised a total of $273.00 from our 4th Recycling for Nature Project that ran from November to January. All recycling proceeds will be donated to The Pacific Marine Mammal Center (PMMC) in Laguna Beach, California. That’s a total of $605 donated to PMMC since summer last year. We are so happy we were able to help raise funds for PMMC and support them in protecting marine mammals! Last week, I met with Mr. Glenn Gray, CEO of Pacific Marine Mammal Center, to pass him the check.

Our Recycling for Nature Project was launched on November 1, 2022 and lasted three months to January 31, 2023. We encouraged friends and neighbors to help us collect used empty plastic bottles and aluminum cans to promote recycling and prevent waste entering landfills. In these past three months, we collected 109 Lb of aluminum cans and 70.2 Lb of plastic bottles and made six trips to the OC Recycling Center in Santa Ana, California. Thank you so much to everyone who participated in our project and helped us recycle and reduce our waste.
