Join Our Global Cleanup Challenge!

September is Coastal Cleanup Month and we’re encouraging all of you to get involved and collaborate with us to help keep your beach, street, neighborhood, school grounds or city clean – every little bit helps! For this month, we have partnered with Litterati to organize Skip the Plastic Straw Global Cleanup Challenge! It is open worldwide so anyone can join! Check out our latest YouTube Video (below) on how YOU CAN make a difference during your cleanup using the Litterati app! With COVID-19, large organized beach cleanup events are on hold. But that doesn’t mean we should stop doing our part to keep our communities clean. My sister and I have taken our beach and neighborhood cleanups remote and doing it (safely) on our own when we need a break from online school! It’s a great way to take time off our computers, stay connected with outdoors and nature, and do something good for our environment.

HOW YOU CAN JOIN OUR CLEANUP CHALLENGE!

In this video, we will show you easy steps on how you can help collect data from your cleanup by taking photos of your trash using the Litterati app. It's a free app that you can download on your phone (Click here to download app on phone!) and it is super easy to use! Litterati members all over the world have been able to use LitterData to get companies, organizations, and governments to create positive environmental policies.

KEY IN THIS CHALLENGE CODE into your Litterati app to find and join our Skip the Plastic Straw Cleanup Challenge: 105166! Don't worry if you don't have the app, you can email us a photo at skiptheplasticstraw@gmail.com and we will share your awesome work! Please help to share this video to inspire more people to do good for our environment!

Thank you to these amazing partners for helping to promote our YouTube Video and Cleanup Challenge!
