Meeting Prince Harry at Conversations for Change!

I am still in shock that I had the privilege to meet Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex at the Conversations for Change event in Los Angeles with 11 other Diana Award recipients last month!!

The Diana Award was founded on Diana, Princess of Wales’ belief that young people have the power to change their community, their country and the world. It is the most prestigious accolade a young person aged 9-25 years can receive for their social action or humanitarian work. I’m truly honored to have received this award for my work with Skip the Plastic Straw.

Thank you Tessy Ojo (CEO of the Diana Award) and the Diana Award team for including me in this event, and for empowering us youth to make positive change. Thank you Prince Harry for advocating for our young voices! I left the event feeling even more inspired after meeting and getting to know everyone’s story and passion.
