Plasticwize Bootcamp in Nigeria

Thank you U-Recycle Initiative Africa for having me as a speaker at the U-Recycle Initiative Plasticwize Bootcamp over the weekend. I was so honored to be able to meet and speak to 107 young female undergraduates ages 16-25 attending the Plasticwize Bootcamp in Nigeria on the topic “How to Influence Policies at Educational Institutions“.

Way to go Oluwaseyi Moejoh (Co-founder and Director, U-recycle Initiative Africa) and her team at U-Recycle Initiative for creating this bootcamp and the Plasticwize Fellowship - a leadership development program focused on empowering young female undergraduates (aged 16-25) to become key sustainability leaders who will go on to lead a transformative behavioural change campaign across tertiary institutions in Nigeria. This campaign is geared toward tackling marine plastic pollution through creative and comprehensive interventions.
